But how can you tell if it really is a great idea or simply a novel thought? With a simple screening process you can determine which of your ideas will sink or swim.
Jeremey Wortsman, Director of The Jacky Winter Group believes it often comes down to timing. “There’s so much to be said for having the right idea at the right time in the right place. I think it all comes down to making connections – both personally and intellectually”
If you think the timings perfect, here are two challenging tests to try. (Click on the images to enlarge). Developed by Business Coach, Marie Foleo there is The Common Sense Test and The Dollars and Cents Test
Once you have considered the answers to these questions you will be in a much better position to judge whether to pursue your idea or whether you may have to go back to the drawing board. The important thing is to keep having ideas, and hopefully one day you’ll be able to turn one into a successful enterprise.
