For the Ideas Man

Darryl Kerrigan sqWhether Darryl Kerrigan might bestow this title upon you or not I don’t know, but if you have the makings of an Ideas Man pay attention to this.

For the month of February (from 2nd to 27th February 2015) the Department of Commerce through the Innovation Centre WA are offering the Innovations Vouchers Program. This scheme invites applicants from small to medium enterprises (SME’s) with proposals for improvements in technology, products, services or business operations that lead to distinct competitive advantage or productivity gain.

An independent committee will judge the applicants and in May will announce the best ideas and reward them with vouchers up to the value of $20,000.

IVP AnnouncementThese funds can be used for technical development, compliance testing, engineering design work, technology transfer and protection of intellectual property, legal advice and commercialisation support services and more.

This funding might just be the help you need to take that idea of yours to being a real and celebrated product!
